Steffi EwingCo-Founder | Director of Marketing

Steffi brings great depth of talent and creativity to the Global Village leadership team with 12 years of field experience in administration and project management as well as eight years in faith-based marketing and ministry development.  She graduated summa cum laude from Furman University in Greenville, South Carolina, in 1999 with a BA in Music and was contracted by In Touch Ministries (ITM) to serve as Marketing Coordinator.  At ITM, Steffi was entrusted with content development for both the Web and print versions of the ITM magazine.  She oversaw product development for direct distribution as marketed through the magazine and worked extensively with ministry premiums and products, developing working relationships with major publishers in the Christian arena.

Within four months, Steffi was promoted to acting Marketing Manager at ITM, charged with the oversight and coordination of ministry-wide marketing activities.  She supervised the production of collateral of all varieties from the conception and development phase through the final print and delivery of each piece.  Steffi served on the ministry’s strategic marketing team, which was responsible for determining and implementing the overall marketing vision for ITM as a whole.

In 2000, she transferred into ITM’s International Department to manage Spanish radio and television production.  In this role, she coordinated script translation, voice replacement, and post-production for over 60 programs.

Her experience in the Spanish department and subsequent interaction with outside ministries revealed a need for strategic ministry consultation and development in the area of Spanish language outreach for the non-profit sector.  In 2002, she resigned from ITM to co-found Global Village, Inc., where she currently serves as both managing partner and CFO.  She is self-taught and fully bilingual in the Spanish language, has a tremendous heart for Latin America, and has served the Hispanic community over the last eight years, both within the United States and abroad, in ministry development and grassroots community service.
